StepOne Connections is owned and managed by Gary and Judi McWilliams.

The McWilliams’s have been involved with the creation and management of festivals and events for over 20 years.

As co-founders of the successful Cobourg Waterfront Festival, they worked with city officials and service club members to make the event a reality. Years later, Mr. McWilliams chaired the festival’s Central Board of Directors. The McWilliams’s have been involved with several other events, including the creation and managing of the Port Hope Farini Festival. Other event involvement include the OFAH Ganaraska Conservation Centre fund raising banquet, several Ruffed Grouse Society banquets in Canada and the United States and the Ducks Unlimited banquets in Cobourg and Port Hope.

In addition to StepOne Connections, the McWilliams have created three other web based festival and event services:

Ontario Festivals Visited (www.ontariofestivalsvisited.ca) is a consumer based website that offers festival and event attendees an insight into “visited” Ontario festivals, events and attractions. Each festival, event or attraction is personally visited by the McWilliams and then an article is written and published (with photos) on the Ontario Festivals Visited website. A series of Radio Features have been developed about the festivals visited and have been offered free of charge to Radio Stations across Ontario.

Festival & Event Planning (www.festivalandeventplanning.com) is a new e-commerce site offering festival and event planners across North America training modules on a variety of festival and event development topics. Computerized event development and control modules will be offered by spring 2008.

Trio Visual Media (www.triovisualmedia.com) is our newest service being offered to festival and event planners. Three web and graphic design professionals have combined their talents to offer festivals and events and their vendors specialized image branding and web design services, including logo design, pamphlet design and preparation, report writing, web design and implementation, search engine management and website hosting.
